An Encouragement to Church Administrators this Easter

Easter weekend is one of the most joyful and significant celebrations in the church calendar. It’s a time when pews are filled, voices are raised in worship, baptisms take place, and the gospel is proclaimed with clarity and power. Behind a busy Easter program, you will find a group of dedicated individuals whose service makes it all possible, church administrators will definitely be on that list. If that’s you, this is for you.

You may be the one opening up the church early, setting up, troubleshooting last-minute glitches, or checking off a to-do list while others are arriving to your services. Thank you for all you are doing to serve your church this Easter. You have the privilege of creating the space for church members and visitors to encounter the risen Christ. And while your role may often go unnoticed, God sees it. And He’s glorified in it.

The GospelIs for You, Too

As you help prepare the way for others to encounter Jesus, don’t forget He came for you, too. It’s easy to fall into the mindset that Easter is something you do to serve others. But Easter is also yours to receive and enjoy. This weekend, amidst the logistics and leadership, take a moment to sit at the tomb yourself. Listen again to the angel’s words: “He is not here; He has risen!” (Luke 24:6). Let that truth sink in not just as something to proclaim, but something to rest in. Your sins are forgiven.Your hope is secure, Hallelujah He is Risen.

Don’t Miss the Wonder

So here’s a simple encouragement, in the midst of your serving, don’t miss the wonder of God’s goodness and grace. Find a moment to step back and look at what God has done and is doing amongst you. Thank you for serving so faithfully. This Easter, may you be refreshed by the very gospel you help others to experience. He is risen—and He delights in you.
