Update: The Church Office is now a CIO

As of February this year, The Church Office has officially changed from a project to a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO). To find out more on the pros and cons of this set-up, check out this podcast we did on CIOs.

But as a CIO, we have added some new members to our team. Alongside Gavin we have three new trustees, let us introduce you…

Peter Greasley

Pete has been a pastor at Christchurch Newport for almost 30 years. He loves the gospel and spends much of his week caring for those in church leadership. If given the chance, he would tell you himself how helpful he’s found the support of a church administrator on the team. (To hear more on his opinions on this, you can catch a podcast that Gavin recorded with him in the early days of The Church Office here).

Anna Wood

Anna is the star behind the scenes of the Cornerstone Collective in Liverpool. She is the Operations Director of the four churches in the Collective and is passionate about seeing the gospel spread through both her home city of Liverpool and further afield. She helped Gavin last year run through the results of the Check-In, here's our favourite episode.

Graeme Hunter

After having previously worked in finance and third sectors, Graeme now works as a GP Practise Manager alongside being stuck into life at his local church. He has a real heart for the gospel and those working in administration behind the scenes. Here's a recent article he wrote about implementing changes in our churches.

We’re so happy to have you all onboard- thank you!

Gavin Smith
Gavin Smith
Gavin serves as the Church Administrator for Christchurch, Newport, a role he has been in for the last 18 years. He is passionate about the gospel and strengthening the church by supporting the work that happens behind the scenes.
